OOC -- storylines and stuff; Meta is welcome

So. First and foremost, I'm a slasher. So Plaude and Claunet are both welcome and encouraged.

I'm also a spoilerphobe, so I'm complicating things myself by not knowing what's coming up. It's my own fault, but there you go. :)

I'm writing Peter over at licenseartistic (and his storyline has probably just been Jossed Kringed too, so yay?), and Claude here. Since the Peter here has an established storyline and I'm not going to mess that up for them, I'm going with 'Claude is searching for missing Peter because he feels like crap for abandoning him.'

Might complicate things with the tentative rebuilding of ties with HRG, but Claude's of the opinion that if he has to share with Sandra, then Bennet shouldn't be annoyed if he has to share with Peter. You never know, there could be further... um... arrangements, in the future.

And he has absolutely no interest in anyone else out there at the moment. Going out for drinks is just something friends do, and getting falling down drunk and laughing at each other is something he hasn't done in far too long. *grins*

Anyway, that sounds good. And I'm so tempted to pick up Sandra... and that would be an interesting dynamic if you and Veet do decide to do some slash. Hee.

*Laughs* Oh, I'm never going to play 5YG Matt. He is, as Veet points out every change she gets, and asshat. I really, really don't know what happened to my boy to make him so... different. *Sigh*

Oh yeah, he is. I think it was just a case of that damned slippery slope -- started out the same way Bennet did when he was a rookie in the Company, believing they were acting for the greater good in taking care of the 'dangerous' ones, and then he got himself stuck in a corner with the various policies (I'd love to know what the Linderman Act entails other than registration and possible imprisonment). And unlike Bennet and the Company, he didn't really have the guts to get out...

But I do still need to figure out 5YG Claude so 5YG Peter isn't stuck with Niki too lonely...

I like Sandra, too. It's one of the problems I have writing middlemanagemnt because I have to keep reminding myself the compartmentalization is necessary or I can't justify the slash... He really does love his family, but the slash is hot, y'know? *is bad*

I write soooooo sloooooooowly... I'm actually amazed I managed to make the deadline on two rare_heroes challenges in a row! Part of the reason I love the writing comms, because I've actually got much better at writing short fic to a semi-deadline, and actually finishing things...

So, I have to ask then, was there a bit of disappointment when Bennet realized Claude liked Peter? That was the way I read it at the time, but now I'm curious :D
