Really. Anyway. We got there, and randomly ran into Peter and Claire, and Peter started glowing like Ted. Bennet sent the three of them off, and that's the last I saw of him. *Looks away*

Yeah. *Breathes in raggedly* Right. So, we went to the Linderman building and helped the blond and her man in, or they helped us, or both. Whatever. I think she was after Linderman. She used to work for him. Something about her kid. So we got off on the floor with the so called tracking system, which I still thought was some sorta computer thing. Then I heard Thompson, and Bennet vanished, then Thompson had a gun to my head and Bennet shot him.

Wish I'd seen that, must've been a thing of beauty... *finishes off his beer and looks at Matt's glass* You ready for the next one?

I would have liked to have been a bit further away from it, myself. Looking into a barrell of a gun and then hearing the shot isn't peaceful.

Anyway. *Shakes his head, pulling himself back together* We got in the room, found Molly, Bennet pointed his gun at her, Suresh hit me in the head.

Might seem like a dumb question, but why didn't the scientist hit Bennet instead? Seems he might've been the bigger threat at the time?

I was closer, I guess. He had a gun to point at Bennet after that. I was kinda out at the time.

Yeah. Anyway, I woke up and recognized Molly, and we had a change of plans.

Yeah. Well, so Molly told us where Sylar was, and I ran off to take care of him. I'm a cop. I find the guy, I get him. Planning is Bennet's thing. *Wry grin*

*nods* Always has been. So, this is when ya went off and got yourself shot?

Sorry, but it's the truth. *shrugs* Telepathy ain't common, and it's really useful -- you found that much out yourself already. Of course, like most of these abilities it's got its drawbacks, but bein' able ta know what someone's thinking? Worth its weight in gold.

Just like most of these abilities, it doesn't come with a user manual. Most of us have ta find out what works on our own, but I've had a bit of experience with newly manifested folks. Might be able to help ya -- no guarantees, though.
